NaNoWriMo starts today, but I won't be participating this year.
Wow, I almost forgot to post this week!
Well, I'm back.
On our way out to catch an early movie and get dinner, we stopped for the most important part of the honeymoon; we mailed our properly signed and completed marriage license back to the county clerk!
So, you know, we're legal now and everything. No more "living in sin" for us!!

Now that I'm actually married, I kind of don't want to take my ring off!

No, not mine.
I got nothing this week.
I'm out of creative ideas and pretty much feel like a spent shell casing.
But, I have a good excuse. In just over a week, I'll be getting married. So, this is the last Friday post you'll see from me for a little bit. Just kind of how that goes. Next week, I'll be busy with family and last minute details for the wedding. The week after, I plan to be still recovering from the wedding. Who knows what will happen the week after that?
Well, it looks like I'm going to call her bluff!
We're officially licensed to get married now. Now, all we need is for the preacher and the BBQ to show up on time!
Seriously, I can't believe how quick and easy it was to get a marriage license. And how happy we both were getting it, while the clerk looked as bored and burned out as ever. Poor thing. You'd think that she'd be happier for people excited to start their life together!

Today I finally replaced the downstairs shower door, like I've been meaning to do since before I got engaged! Seriously!
I know Sharon asked me to do it, too, but I've been meaning to tackle that project since I moved into this house more than twelve years ago. Crazy.
In any case, these two tools really made the caulking part of the job a lot easier to do. A very wise investment!

So, yeah, I've got pretty much nothing this week.
Not quite a "Tim Ferriss Slow-Carb" breakfast, but better than the coffee and cigarettes I've been known to call the "Breakfast of Champions" in earlier years.
